Sketchbook Play - Mixed Media Collage

This 'Collage' course tessellates with my other technique based courses, 'Print' and 'Draw' to show you how to build a vibrant, exploratory mixed-media sketchbook. Through videos, text and stills I show you the different ways that I use collage.
I think of collage as 'drawing with scissors'! It's a large part of my studio practice and a fun part of mixed-media sketchbook work. With it I can create texture, colour and pattern and lean in to the shape based drawing that I love.

The videos on this course are a fusion of videos from other courses. Each one is accompanied by a task or tasks so that you can try the technique from the video.
Here is a little more information about the course. If you have any questions, you can ask me by using the links at the foot of the page.

Content for this course has been mostly taken from my Garden Sketchbook course so if you've done that you will have covered what I teach here. For those who wish to progress from this course on to Garden Sketchbook there is a discount code offered on completion.
If you love bold shape and mixed-media this course is for you!

If you enjoy sketchbook play, then this course is for you!

If you want to work bolder and more intuitively then this course is for you!

My sketchbooks are a meeting place for texture, mark, drawings and pattern, usually inspired by nature. I love to build the pages with these different elements.

In this online class I will show you the different ways I use collage in my sketchbooks. It's a joyful and satisfying way to add colour and texture to your sketchbooks. I will help you build your creative confidence. If you've lost your creative rhythm, I will guide you through ideas that you can use in your creative development work.

You will end the course with inspiration and techniques for building layers of drawing, pattern and adding collage to enhance and enliven your sketchbook pages.
